Chapter 12 - EPISODE 12 POVERTY (PHILIPPIANS 4:12)

After moving to the company's staff quarters in year 2005, there was no source of income to sustain them. They were living from hand to mouth, there were few persons who assisted them from time to time.


There were times when Love goes into crisis, rushed to the hospital for treatment but no money to pay the hospital bills.

Whenever Hazon raise money to pay the hospital bills, he finds out that the bill has already been paid by someone who is left anonymous. Sometimes the doctor treats Hazon's daughter for free. The favor of God was upon Hazon's family and the mercy of God followed them in their predicament.


Philippians 4:12 says, "I know what it is to be in need, and i know what it is to have plenty. I have learnt the secrete of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want."


However Hazon was able to raise some money to open a small poultry business for Maraya through the little job he had from a company who pays very little. This poultry business was able to put food on the table and also pay their children fees.


As the years passed by in year 2011, Hazon opened his own firm and was getting contracts from the government to move his business to the next level. Hazon and his family suffered in poverty for seven years.

Hazon was able to save some money from his contracts to renovate the family house he built for his late parents, where three of his brothers were living there. Unfortunate events happened in the course of his renovation.
