Few months after Maraya gave birth, her baby called Love became sick, she was taken to the hospital for checkup and the Doctor's report showed that she has fever. The fever kept re-occurring and extended to two years. Maraya and her husband wondered why their baby kept falling sick. When Love fell sick again, Maraya rushed her to the hospital and the Doctor told her that Love has SICKLE-CELL ANEMIA. From all the test the Doctor carried out, it showed that Love never had fever but has been having occurring crisis.

Maraya was perplex about the result of her child and told the doctor that it is impossible. The Doctor asked what her genotype was and she said A.A. and so was her husband. The Doctor advised that she should carry out a test to be sure.

Maraya took the test and the result showed that she was A.S. Maraya was so confused and shocked about this news.

During Hazon and Maraya's courtship, they both carried out a genotype test in three different hospitals and both their results showed A.A. God is not the author of confusion, he knows what he is doing and He brought these two together for a purpose. The Doctor advised Maraya to tell her husband to take the same test.

Hazon's extended family heard the news of Love's illness and had a meeting without Hazon. They said all sort of things about Maraya and accused her of infidelity.

At the late hour of the night precisely 9:00pm, Hazon walked down the street to buy soft drink for his daughter Love because she fell ill. As he strolled down the street his cousin saw him and asked him why he was out at that hour of the night. Hazon told him he wanted to get a drink for his daughter because she was sick. Hazon's cousin told him that he heard Maraya had the baby from another man. Hazon asked where he heard that from, and he said he heard it from his siblings. Hazon was so disappointed with his siblings for saying such things.

Hazon returned home and shared the news his siblings were spreading around to his wife. As Maraya heard this, she did not react or say a word about the lies and accusations.

One day Hazon and his wife went to visit his aunty Abarta, when she saw Maraya guilt began to build up within her. Immediately Aunty Abarta began to apologize for all she and her nephews and nieces said about her, she was so ashamed of herself for doing such a thing, Maraya accepted her apology without confronting her. Maraya always leaves every situation to God to handle and indeed God vindicated her. This brought great fear to her in-laws hearts because Maraya was very quiet about every lies and accusations they threw at her. Hazon's siblings later found out that Hazon's genotype was A.S. They kept their mouths shut and they became ashamed of themselves.
