In the Northern part of Nigeria, there was a little community which consist of a tribe, they had their traditions and beliefs. Most of them practiced witchcraft which caused great wickedness and hatred for those who are born to be great in life.

In year 1960, a child was born into a polygamous family in this little village. This child was called Hazon meaning vision or revelation and he was the first born and first son of his parents, ''The Petersons''. Hazon's father got married to another woman as his second wife. Hazon's step mom called Amina was into witchcraft, and she foresaw how great Hazon was going to be in life. The wealth and glory of Hazon's parents was upon him and Amina saw this and became jealous of her co-wife son because his glory was greater than that of her children.

Micah 2:1 says ''How horrible it will be for those who invent trouble and work out plans for disaster while in bed. When the morning dawns, they carry out their plans because they are able to''.

Amina used Hazon's weakness and lured him into eating a meal she prepared and poisoned it so he could eat and die. Hazon became very sick for thirteen long years with a chronic and deadly ulcer due to the poisoned food he ate. Hazon was dying slowly and the whole family prepared themselves for his death. God's hand was upon Hazon and did not allow the wicked plan of the devil to manifest in his life.

In the customs and traditions it is said that the first born gets married first before his/her siblings. Hazon's immediate brother Jafar was ready to get married he had to seek his permission to go ahead with his wedding plans.

Hazon thought he was going to die so he told Jafar to go ahead with his wedding plans. Hazon became so thin like a skeleton because the sickness has drained him out. Hazon had a major surgery because the ulcer had eaten deep into his stomach. The surgeon cut out one quater (1/4) of his stomach, this made Hazon eat little portion of food.

However, after the surgery a medication was administered to him which his body reacted negatively to it. He was given an anti-dot to the medication administered to him. A few days later, when he was still unconscious a nurse tried to administer the same medication he reacted to unknowingly, suddenly Hazon opened his eyes and said ''don't give me that medication i am allergic to it' and Hazon became unconscious again, great fear grip the nurse and his aunty who stayed with him in the hospital.

The devil still tried to make an attempt on Hazon's life but God did not allow it because Hazon has a great purpose in the land of the living. Hazon read books on healing and he applied great faith for his recovery and with all prayers that has been made he came out from that sickness and he was made whole and sound again. Amina's plan to kill Hazon failed and she devised another means to get him. She initiated Hazon's brother Samuel to continue with the wicked plans but Samuel did not know about this witchcraft but he grew with it, until he became matured and understood what he was initiated into. After thirteen years of deadly illness Hazon was so grateful to God and he continued to live till date.
