Sergio Aguero hinted that Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo was only lucky to be able to score a goal from a free kick.
Ronaldo ended the 'fast' of free kick goals after breaking into Abha's goal which brought Al Nassr a 2-1 win in the Saudi Arabian League.
A few days later CR7 also scored a free kick goal with the Portugal national team in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
However, Ronaldo's free kick goal was underestimated by Sergio Aguero. The former Barcelona player thinks that Ronaldo's free kick is only due to luck.
"See where he scores?" said Aguero quoted from Sportbible .
"Come on. All the free-kick goals and pure luck," Aguero added.
In Aguero's eyes, the best free kick goal belongs only to his compatriot, Lionel Messi. La Pula scored a free kick goal for Paris Saint-Germain in their 2-0 win over Nice. Through this goal, Messi also surpassed Ronaldo's European goalscoring record.
"Messi [scored] from all angles. But what did [Ronaldo] do? The goalkeeper's mistake," said Aguero.
Not only fussy, the former Manchester City striker also thinks Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez has better goals than Ronaldo.
"I think Raul has the better goals, [Karim] Benzema, I think he has the better goals," said Aguero.
