The Ballad of Amelia Grace | Poem

The shadows whisper, the moonlight calls,

Amelia Grace through the forest halls.

Her laughter echoes, her smile beams bright,

Dancing alone in the cold moonlight.

The stars shine down like diamonds above,

As Amelia Grace flies like a dove.

Her heart takes flight on the mysteries night,

Finding treasures hidden, a wondrous sight.

The wind sings soft, the owls take wing,

Amelia Grace hears nature sing.

Secrets and stories, tales to behold,

Unfettered freedom, more precious than gold.

But time keeps marching, the sun starts to rise,

The magic fades before Amelia's eyes.

The forest still calls her back every night,

To dance in the moonlight and bask in the light.

Her heart will remember that mystical way,

When Amelia Grace comes out to play.

Though trapped in the daylight, her spirit stays,

Forever dancing through the forest haze.

The world may never know the joys she's found,

As Amelia Grace spins round and round.

A secret now kept, a mystery untold,

More precious to her than silver and gold.
