Double Trouble:
Falling in Love with Two

A heart divided, caught between two

Two loves, two passions, what to do?

Each one unique, each one true

Falling in love with two, oh what to pursue?

One may be kind, gentle, and sweet

The other bold, passionate, and complete

Both fill the heart, with love and care

Leaving one wondering, which to declare.

How can one choose, between two loves?

When each feels right, like a hand in a glove

One may have history, the other new and fresh

How to choose, without making a mess?

The heart wants what it wants, it's true

But what if the heart wants both, in lieu?

 It's a challenge, a puzzle to solve

Which love to choose, which one to dissolve?

In times like these, it's best to take time

To explore each love, to feel the sublime

To understand the heart, and what it needs

To find clarity, and act on what it heeds.

Falling in love with two, is not a crime

But it's important to be honest, and not mime

Be upfront, be transparent, and be true

To the ones you love, and to yourself too.

In the end, only one can be chosen

A decision that may leave hearts broken

But to love and to be loved, is a gift to behold

To cherish and nurture, and forever hold.

Falling in love with two, may seem a feat

But with love and compassion, it can be sweet

To find one's heart, and follow its lead

To find true love, and plant its seed.
