If there is a company I enjoyed working with is Rev. This is one of the best transcription companies I know. One of the qualities I love about this company is their working dashboard. It's simple, clear and easy. They give their employers enough time to complete a project and have plenty of projects aligned for every employer to choose from. In this company, the more work you do the more you earn.

Rev has stages for their employers to pull up their socks and submit quality projects. These three stages calls for extra performance and caution while working on a project. First stage is rookie stage, which requires you to acquire five stars of an accumulative 45 minute of projects submitted.

Second stage is Rev, which requires you to at least attain an average of 4.5 rating of an accumulative 700 minutes of projects submitted. Third and final stage is Rev plus, which requires you to attain an average of 4.8 rating of all the 700 minutes projects submitted accumulatively .

Rating was not only done on the project's quality, on time submission and formatting were also put into consideration.

Rev pays weekly through PayPal, on Monday evenings. That means, all projects submitted and rated as from Saturday midnight to next week's Saturday midnight, are paid on Monday evenings. The more I ever made in one week was 400 dollars.

Placing your eggs in one basket can be a disappointment, and I hate disappointments. Rev made me some good money, but I wanted to be flexible. So, I jumped into focus forward with all the positive attitude and yummy, it was worth trying. There are no stages these side, but your performance is highly appreciated since low performances leads to account deactivation.

Rating in focus forward is done in percentages unlike Rev which is done in five stars. All projects submitted should average 80 percent or you loose your account. That means accuracy and formatting should be observed while working a project. Working at home is not as easy as you may think, it equally needs dedication.

In focus forward, payment is done through PayPal bi-weekly on Fridays. The most I made in those two weeks was 200 dollars, not bad for someone who is unemployed.
