The Disappearance of Heather Teague: A Cold Case That Remains Unsolved

On August 26th, 1995, Heather Teague, a 23-year-old woman from Spottsville, Kentucky, vanished while sunbathing on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. Her disappearance has remained a mystery for over 25 years, and no one has ever been charged in connection with her disappearance.

Heather was last seen by a witness who reported seeing a man with binoculars lurking in the woods near her. The witness, who was across the river in Indiana, called 911 and reported what she saw. Within minutes, the witness said the man emerged from the woods and dragged Heather into the woods at gunpoint. Despite an extensive search of the area, no trace of Heather was ever found.

The case has been shrouded in controversy and conspiracy theories, with many people speculating that local law enforcement and government officials were involved in her disappearance. Some believe that Heather witnessed a drug deal or other criminal activity and was killed to prevent her from talking.

The case gained national attention when her mother, Sarah Teague, appeared on the Montel Williams Show in 1997 to plead for information about her daughter's disappearance. Despite the attention the case received, no new leads emerged.
