The election took place at the INEC office in Calabar on March 1st, 2024, under the supervision of Chairman Cross River State Elections Committee, Alhaji Said Baba Abdulahi, INEC REC representative Mr. Eldred Davis, and Administrative Secretary, EPM representative Mrs. Margaret Eyo.

The election committee, led by Chairman Alhaji Abdulahi, ensured a transparent and fair election process that resulted in the following individuals being elected into key positions within the council: - Engr. Effiom Edet Okon of APP as Chairman - Rev. Omaleko Omaleko of APGA as Deputy Chairman - Mr. Omari Frederick Eje of YPP as Secretary - Neitin Bassey of SDP as Deputy Secretary - Ojisi Michael Ntui of PDP as Financial Secretary

Mr. Effiom Bassey Effiom of APC as Treasurer - Mr. Victory Okoi Ubana as Organising Secretary - Mr. Odiga Odiga of APM as Publicity Secretary - Mr. Odey Anthony of NNPP as Legal Adviser These new executives will play crucial roles in leading and coordinating the various political parties represented in Cross River state. Their selection reflects a diverse and inclusive leadership team committed to upholding the values of democracy and effective governance.
