Kaziranga is a World Heritage site in India, and it is also one of the splendid wildlife refuges in the world. Located in the north-eastern state of Assam in India, Kaziranga National Park is a world-renowned wildlife reserve that is famous for its diverse and abundant flora and fauna. Established in 1905, the park covers an area of 430 square kilometres and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The park is best known for being home to the largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses in the world. In fact, two-thirds of the world's population of one-horned rhinos can be found in Kaziranga. This magnificent animal is considered to be an endangered species and is protected by the park's authorities. The park is also a habitat for other wildlife species such as elephants, tigers, leopards, buffalos, and several species of deer.

Visitors to Kaziranga National Park can choose from a variety of activities such as jeep safaris, elephant safaris, and nature walks. The park is open all year round, although the best time to visit is between November and April when the weather is pleasant and the grass is dry, making it easier to spot wildlife.
