As a 24-year-old, I had always been confident about my biking skills. I was always in control, always aware of my surroundings and cautious of the traffic. But one day, everything changed.
It was 08:30 in the morning, and the roads were relatively empty. I was cruising on my bike, taking advantage of the lack of traffic to pick up some speed. I was probably going around 80-90 km/h, enjoying the wind rushing past me, when suddenly a three-wheeler appeared on my side.
I was taken aback, caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the vehicle. I don't remember what exactly happened next, but I do remember that it was a dangerous situation. My heart was pounding in my chest, and my hands were sweating on the handlebars. I was paralyzed with fear, not sure if I would make it out of this unscathed.
Thankfully, I was able to regain my composure and avoid a collision. But that moment still haunts me to this day. It was a sobering experience that taught me the importance of always being cautious on the road, no matter how empty it may seem.
From that day on, I made a conscious effort to slow down and always be aware of my surroundings. I don't want to experience anything like that ever again. I want to continue to enjoy the freedom of biking, but always with caution and safety in mind.
In conclusion, my brush with danger on the road taught me a valuable lesson. No matter how confident we are in our skills or how empty the roads may seem, we can never let our guard down. We must always be vigilant and take the necessary precautions to stay safe on the road.
