The African Women Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP) Coordinators from the Akwa Ibom State Chapter recently paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Sports Development, Honorable Agnes Atsu, in her office in Calabar. During the meeting, Commissioner Atsu warmly welcomed the coordinators and expressed her gratitude for the visit. She emphasized the importance of AWEP's initiatives and praised their efforts in empowering women entrepreneurs.

The Commissioner was also honored and humbled to receive recognition from the AWEP for her dedication to service and humanity in the state and beyond. In acknowledgment of Commissioner Atsu's meritorious work and selfless contributions to society through sports activities, the Coordinator of AWEP AKS, Pastor Mrs. Victory Ebong, commended her for her exemplary service.

A special community service award was presented to the Honorable Commissioner in appreciation of her unwavering commitment to the emancipation and betterment of humanity. The gesture highlighted the deep respect and admiration that AWEP has for Commissioner Atsu's transformative endeavors in promoting sports development and fostering societal growth.
