Culture as been defined as lifestyle or a way of life of a group of people.Which includes: beliefs,food, language, music dressing etc.

It's been ancient,and so it defines the people.Once you meet a people the most probable betrayal could be the dressing or language as the case may be.

Pop culture, on the other hand which is the short for popular culture, has do to with set of  practices,ideas, beliefs, and appearance that are prevalent and widely accepted within mainstream or modern society at a given point in time. It includes aspects such as music, fashion, slang, and trends that capture the attention and interest of a large audience, particularly the younger generation.It’s not a static and it's ever-evolving, reflecting the collective consciousness of society.

Without doubt  pop culture as impacted the Nigerian ancient cultures,it does change the lifestyle, which is culture defined,though the impact has been a complex interplay, it also impact traditional beliefs and practices.

One of such impact is the erosion of cultural positions as new trends and ideas emerge. 

Another possible impact could be integration, which will give us a fusion of ancient and contemporary elements, creating a unique cultural hybrid.

Summarily the impact of Pop culture on Nigerian ancient cultures  present both positives and negatives.
