The well-known battle between the heart and the mind.
When you know it won't work but your heart tells you there is some hope.
When you know this person is toxic but your heart makes you blind.
When you know that you'll get hurt but your heart hopes you won't.
When your mind warns you from a person but your heart believes they aren't that bad.
At the end, we are all fighting the mind.
Although the mind would protect you from pain later on.
