Chapter 1 - Poverty in Africa
Despite the advancement in technology and modernisation, multitude of races still swim in the rivers of destitution, illnesses and starvation. Let me take you to Africa, a continent with vast of natural and mineral resources, unique and diverse cultures and above all brilliant and intelligent natives. Africa is said to be the second largest continent after Asian in both landmarks and population.
This continent, despite it's multitude of minerals resources still finds it difficult to meet ends meat. Most of it dwellers are poor and starving. It has the lowest lifespan of 46years, and the youngest growth of 19yrs in average. Poverty and starvation is seen to be part and parcel of Africa despite the attempt of many organizations to eradicate it. Many dwellers and of course researchers attribute this issue to bad leadership, corruption, Western superiority etc. Till date thousands of Africans die on a daily basis due to hunger and some diseases.
