#SEASONAL POETRY

Ember days wailed off as bee buzz

   Safe treasury as Roman’s castle

   Falso hope by the divines

Wail and hail; we blended and woke

   Aye and lo, mirages thicken

   Sailed lower to compass

Poor cabin with a drenched whore

   Wild fishes instead of emeralds

   Lost treasure-picking Life or Gold

   Nature broke our potsherds grip

Cry to your mother star and moon

   Balance never earned in South

   Chaos pooped on North Locus

   Earth becomes the stranger

   Sun rain-checked adventurer invites

Just paddle me; any Deity with ears

Creatures lurked in the depth bluffed

Alien to my world, maybe not mine

   Sailors and children echoed pain

   Women sobs silently but audibly

Abrupt silence filled up the space

Cheers to new world made for us

Death becomes the utopia void of rum
