In shame and fear,
She stands
Fretful and trembling
Wishing she had stood firm
When she knew she was stumbling

At the peak of her education
She goes for her prosecution
Before the committee
For disciplinary action
Due to unwanted pregnancy

She embarked on the journey
With a clear vision
She had a mission
To be the saviour of her family
From poverty and struggle
With a strong purpose
And unwavering determination
She decided
To invest in her future
Avoiding all distractions
She gave God attention
he in turn gave her direction

While she left from home
She promised herself not to roam
With those who have no goal
Never to behave in Rome
As the Romans

She built a firm foundation
So as to fulfil her expectation
At the zenith of the journey,
She met a boy
Who referred to her as his honey
And drifted her away from the right path
Made her carried away by the currents of the oceans
To be blown away by the wind
She has fallen into the sinking sand
making her success an illusion
Her life has become an irony
Of its original script, bringing her damnation

As the best student in the former years
She began to make mockery of instructions
Her dreams have now become a fiction
She has fallen from grace to grass
Her grand vision
Has become a fantasy
She is back at zero point
finally rusticated
she wonders ,what will be her parents reaction?

She wishes
she had ignored his riches
and lovely words
her picture of a glorious future
has become blurry
but she has to face the reality
because lost moments
never come back from the dark past
