Bangladesh crushed India's pride and won the series by defeating the second ODI as well

In the second ODI of the series played in Mirpur, Bangladesh, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 271 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

In such a situation, Mahmudullah and Mehdi Hasan showed excellent batting and took the team's score to 217 runs, then Mahmudullah got out after scoring 77 runs off 96 balls.
From the other end, Mehdi Hasan continued his brilliant batting and scored his first career century, supported by Naseem Ahmed.
Mehdi Hasan scored an unbeaten 100 off 83 balls while Naseem Ahmed played an innings of 18 runs, so Bangladesh scored 271 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Chasing Bangladesh's target of 272 runs, India did not start very well, due to an injury to captain Sharma Rohit in the match, Virat Kohli came in with Shekhar Dhawan as the opener, but Kohli was dismissed for 5 runs on a total score of just 7 runs.
Apart from this, Dhawan scored 8, Sundar 11 and KL Rahul returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs, while Shreyas Iyer and Akshar Patel batted responsibly and gave India hope of victory.
But then Shreyas Iyer scored 82 and Akshar Patel left the team after scoring 56 runs. When India was facing difficulties, captain Rohit Sharma, who was injured in the match, came to bat.
He played an innings of 51 runs off 28 balls despite an injured thumb, but that too could not win the team, India scored 266 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Bangladesh's Ibad Hussain sent 3 players to the pavilion while Mehdi Hasan Mirza and Shakib Al Hasan took 2 wickets each.
Thus, Bangladesh defeated India by 5 runs in the second ODI after a sensational match and gained an unbeaten lead in the series. Bangladesh had defeated India in the first match as well after a sensational match.
It should be noted that Bangladesh defeated India 1-2 in the ODI series on their soil in 2015 as well.
The third and final ODI of the series between Bangladesh and India will be played on December 10.
