Morocco defeated former world champions Spain on penalty kicks in the pre-quarter final match of the ongoing Football World Cup in Qatar.
In the match played between Morocco and Spain, both teams could not score a goal until the allotted time. After which extra time was given, both teams could not score in the extra time and the match was tied again.
After which the match was decided on penalty kicks
