This temple is located in Subramanya hills in the Western Ghats. Two important Pooja Ashlesha Bali puja and Sarpa Samaskara Puja are only performed in Kukke Subramanya temple.

Sarpa Samaskara Puja :

Sarpa Samaskara Puja is related to Sarpa Dosh Pooja. This Pooja is performed to keep away Sarp Dosh. Sarpa Samaskara Puja takes two days to complete. Sarpa Samaskara Puja always starts in the early morning at 730 Am. During puja drinking alcohol and eating nonveg are not allowed. Four people are allowed to present during Pooja time. Wear white new cotton clothes. Many Brahmins are there to do Pooja. For people who are facing a problem after marriage in having a child Sarpa Samaskara Puja is suggested by Jyotish.

Sarpa Samaskara Puja Benefits :

Sarpa Samaskara Puja is generally performed for unmarried people. Snakes are very dear to lord Shiva if someone killed a snake in their past life, then it creates a Sarpa Dosh in your present life. So, we perform this Sarpa Samaskara puja to get relief from Sarpa dosh in our life. In Kukke Subramanya temple worship is done according to ‘Vikasam Agam’

Ashlesha Bali Pooja :

Ashlesha Bali Pooja is performed on Ashlesha Nakshatra and Ashlesha Bali Pooja takes a few hours to conduct Pooja. If Ashlesha Bali Pooja is not performed on the right Muhurta then its effect will be not getting as expected.

Actually, Lord Subramanyam protects us from a Kaal Sarp dosh or any kind of Sarp dosh. And for that, it is important to perform Ashlesha Bali Pooja on Ashlesha Nakshatra every month. The first phase of Pooja is 7:00 Am and 9:15 Am. And Pooja Prasad will be distributed after the completion of Homam Purnahuti Pooja.

Shravan Mass, Kartik Mass, Megashira Mass is the best time to perform Ashlesha Bali Pooja. Ashlesha Bali Pooja helps us to remove Nagdosha, and Putradosha, get relief from the deaseases, and get good professional life. This Pooja corrects the positioning of Rahu, Ketu, and Shani.

Characteristics of Ashlesha Nakshatra :

Such persons are very sagacious

They can be very rude to anybody

Mostly these people behave like a childish

Difference between Sarpa Dosh and Kaal Sarp Dosh :

Kaal sarp dosh and Sarpa dosh are totally different. For sarpa dosh, there is no specific time limit for sarpa dosh and even after a person's death sarpa dosh still affects the person's soul life.

And Kaal sarp dosh only depends on the positioning of grah. When Rahu and Ketu impact other planets then Kaal sarp dosh is created in life. The remedies of Kal sarp dosh are simpler than sarpa dosha. And Kaal Sarp Dosh Puja is conducted in Trimbakeshwar temple.
