THE POET

THE POET

The struggle struggled I from the buckle

With strive I shuttle amidst the rubble

I'm a warrior

That fought through the terror

I'm a poet

I speak with my poem while being quiet.

Despite the freckle, I sparkle

Pushing through the rumble, didn't stumble

In solitude, speaking to the multitude

Though I'm ineptude, but in seclude my unspoken words reaching the high altitude

The poem is my inner thought unspoken

It reveals my inner self that's broken.

My words are like the ranting of a madman

But to the wise one they are like the speech of Hanuman

My inner thoughts are like a raging volcano

But the expression is calm even in the billowing tornado

I'm gonna stand the test of time

My words echoing through the generations.

THE POET.
