My eyes caught a glimpse of hers and locked

I could feel the pain, I was going crazy

I wished I could take the pain away

Then mind torturing soul

Remembering all the struggles, all in vain

When she needed a shoulder to lean on

I was gone; for another woman

A single teardrop fell from my eye

A tear of guilt

I could see amidst tears in my eyes

see her turning her face away

She made long strides

And matched out of the arena

And disappeared forever out of my sight

But forever she lives in my heart
