The peanut givers with tears give

The vapourisers of government treasury thrive

Sit-tight abroad, drinking beer

Even their certificates are forged

our cash crop tamed to catch them

Enemy of the South

Wandering about without reaching Kainji

A mistake from the North

The mouth cannot speak again

Because all die to live

And they try to come again

Nigeria of today

The British masters are to blame

The night moves closer to its day

Good morning, the blaze

I cry standing on the way

Let the change change the change

Unity against division fight the way
