Three years quickly passed by and Marckel was stronger than ever, she was so happy and pleased with the results also was her mother. One fine day, her mother called her to have a word with her. Her mother said " my daughter, you're now growing and getting stronger more than I had imagined or expected, listen carefully, no interruptions, remember this everytime the staff is her power, defeat her by breaking the staff. You're still to young, I'll explain to you better when you're 16 so you'll venture out when you're 18 or less if I see you can do the task". Marckel curiously thought what it might be but the further she thought about it the more confused she became because there wasn't any hints to help her solve this. She made a decision not to find out what it was until her mother tells her.

After that day, her mother always tells her that everyday and this most times make Marckel more curious but there's nothing she can do about it but wait. Marckel was out one evening after finishing her training with the king when she met an old lady who was shivering in the cold, she gave the woman her robes and brought the woman home for warmth , Melisa welcomed the woman warmly and asked Marckel to go make some tea for the old woman. Immediately she left the woman appreciated Melisa for raising such a kind daughter and told Melisa she had a prophecy and said " When the girl turns 13 disaster shall struck because of curiosity, she shall go out of the kingdom into the kingdom of Marckel and shall be captured by the witch, you can stop this prophecy from happening by stoping her going out when she is thirteen and if that happens, you can make her escape by bringing out her anger and vengeance spirit but that will cost yours and your husband's life, I don't want that to happen to you so be careful and make sure she doesn't go out on her thirteen birthday".

Melisa thanked the old woman and called Marckel to bring the tea, Marckel came apologizing for being late, she had gone to ease herself. She served the tea to the old woman and her worried mother. Marckel asked her mom why she is looking worried but her mom assured her that it was nothing serious she is just tired. She told her mom to go to bed and she also prepared a place for the old woman to sleep. By the time Melisa and Marckel woke up they realized that the old woman was gone.
