About the Position:

• Provide essential hands-on care to patients with diverse medical and mental health needs, assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  

• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nurses promptly.
  

• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
  

• Assist with transferring and positioning patients with respect and care.
  

• Maintain a clean and safe environment in patient rooms and common areas.
  

• Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification in California.
  

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport and trust with patients.
  

• Strong empathy and a patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing individual needs and dignity.
  

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating seamlessly with healthcare professionals.
  

• BLS certification required.
  

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients with assistance.
