Vanessa woke up very early the following though but she wasn't feeling any pain anymore. She sat on the bed and touched her but there isn't any injury or sign of been bitten. She looked at the wall clock that says 5:30am. She stood up and proceed to the mirror to check her neck properly . She looked into the mirror though with a sleepy eyes but got fully awake when she found another eye ball colour looking back at her but it was normal when she take a closer look. She was at first scared knowing if a vampire bite someone, he or she will either die or become one of them.

"probably, they only drank my blood but, shouldn't I feel weak?",she thinks but later shrug it off. She sees her uniform stained with blood and pulled it off. She then proceed to have her bath.

      Vanessa walked out of her room and proceed to the sitting room. She met her dad watching TV,a football match. She stood quietly not knowing what to say.

"you don't want injections doesn't mean you should lock the doors including yours, but surely I didn't look inside when I unlock your room. Thankfully I have some spare keys", Paul said noticing her presence. She began to wonder why would Collins locked the doors and even take the keys away cause she knows for sure that he brought her home.

"am sorry",she admitted.

"it's fine, let's stop quarrelling",

"are you saying you will stop giving me injections?",

Paul smiled at her.

"seriously, thanks Dad", she shouted excitedly. Paul stood up."I've made you breakfast",

Vanessa was so happy that she hopped after him to the dinning room. He made her light breakfast that is bread and hot tea. He gave her some money afterwards and also decided to take her to school.

"I am very sure she won't be able to come to school today",

"you can't predict Collins,she might...",

"she might what?, Max you can't understand,I..I was just too careless",

"it wasn't your fault, you tried protecting her, moreover if you are so sure she won't make it, I think we should actually checked up on her or ask her friends",

"do you know her friends?",

"let's go to class B, someone will know for sure",

The two of them went to her class and met few students that have arrived. The female students looked at them as they entered the class, commenting on their handsomeness especially Collins.

"what are you guys doing here,or..did..you..miss your way?", a female said as she approachef them as others laughed.

"we didn't miss our way for sure", Max said,"we're actually looking for someone", they described her 

"Ho that's her best friends",the student said pointing at Lissa and Veronica.

"thanks", they said and approached them.

"why are you looking for Vanessa",Lissa queried immediately they got to them.

"actually we are her friends", Max replied.

"friends?",Lissa and Veronica looked at each other, then back at them"you are her friends and yet you don't know her name?". Max and Veo became speechless.

"wellll.. Vanessa is quick in making friends",Lissa said,

"please where is she?",

"one hour or  two from now,she hasn't arrive",Vero said

"why?",Max asked,"

"Dad's problem",they said in unison.

"we don't get you", Collins asked looking confused

"she and her dad always quarrel, especially in the morning",

Collins sighed,he felt disappointed in himself. Her mom is lying unconsciously in the hospital and she isn't even in good terms with her father.

"but why?",Max asked,

"I think she'll be the one to tell you that",Vero said.

"Hi!!, what a lovely morning", someone shouted from behind.

"Vanessa!!!?",

"yea! surprise?",

Collins anax looked at each other and looked back at her looking both surprised and suspicious.

"how come you arrived so early?",

"this morning is a marvelous one indeed",

"no quarel with Dad this morning?",Lissa asked,

"not at all",she replied as she was cracking up,"he even made me breakfast",

"What??",

"gave me doubld money"

"like seriously",her friends expressed,

"and brought me to school"

"unbelievable",her friends were very surprised.

"I am so happy right..",

"I think you should share your good news with your new friends",Lissa excused for her to see Collins and Max.

"ho sorry,I didn't noticed you guys",she said and moved closer  a bit to them. Max was already out of his mind as he just stare at her not knowing whether to be scared or admire her beauty. Collins was also expecting Max to say something as he was also confused but seeing Max looking lost,he hit him slightly bringing him back to his sense.

"ummm,we are happy for you",Max said.

"how's your health?",Collins asked but just then the gathering bell rang and everyone began to move out. Vanessa moved closer to Collins and snatched her house keys which is dangling in his hand. The key fell down and she bent down to pick it but someone helped her and they coincidentally ended up picking it together. Their eyes interlocked,at that time,no one else was left in the class except the two of them. Lyndia and Vanessa stood there staring at each other more than imagined minutes as unexpressable, uninterpretable thing went between them. 30 seconds later, someone dropped dead.
