"Colonel Bachchu now arrested a self-proclaimed Yaba queen from Leda Bazar in Teknaf."

Colonel Bachchu told the woman, "We caught you red-handed along with Yaba. You will be judged for sure."

The woman then looked at Colonel Bachchu violently and said, "What happened when you caught me with Yaba? What can you do to me? I am Rita. I am Yaba Queen. Everyone knows me by one name, including the gangster of Leda Bazar. I am a well-known woman of Leda Bazar."

Colonel Bachchu said, "Whether you are a famous woman from Leda Bazar or a notorious woman from Hagu Bazar is not my concern. What I care about is that you were arrested red-handed along with Yaba. So you must face trial according to the prevailing law."

Rita said, "You can't do anything to me. Because the current era is the era of women's rights. Women are now being given priority in every country of the world, including Bangladesh.What ten men say doesn't matter, one woman says it once is worth ten times more.You have arrested me with Yaba, if this news is spread in the country and abroad, then everyone will say that it is a man who has arrested a woman with Yaba.It is tantamount to violence against women. Now Rita spoke in such a way that she would lose Colonel Bachchu in a tricks of speech. So Rita said, "You work at government expense.Run the family with a salary from public tax money. And now you wants to establish the ideal of a philosopher in Bangladesh.A philosopher has become an advocate of an ideology, if civil people had said it, it would have been accepted. You have violated the Code of Conduct of Public Service."

Colonel Bachchu said, "I do not work to establish anyone's ideology. You have spoken about equal rights for women by making a crime.So I wanted to let you know that your clean singing will not last. Because people are now becoming aware to prevent women criminals like you.So my speech have never violated the code of conduct in public service."

Hearing this, Rita shouted and said, "Yes, I heard that no one in the country and abroad will sing for me.But what can you do to me now? Here I stand with Yaba. I will see if you can touch me a little?"

Now Major Mofiz, who was standing next to Colonel Bachchu, whispered to Colonel Bachchu, "Sir, what will you do now? We cannot capture this woman.We came in search of an unknown Yaba trader. We didn't know it was a woman."

"কর্নেল বাচ্চু এবার টেকনাফের লেদা বাজার থেকে স্বঘোষিত এক ইয়াবা রানিকে গ্রেফতার করলেন।"

কর্নেল বাচ্চু ওই মহিলাকে বললেন,"আপনাকে আমরা ইয়াবাসহ হাতেনাতে ধরেছি। আপনার বিচার হবে নিশ্চিত।"

ওই মহিলাটা তখন হিংস্রভাবে কর্নেল বচ্চুর দিকে তাকিয়ে বলল,"আপনারা আমাকে ইয়াবাসহ ধরেছেন তো কী হয়েছে? আপনি কী করতে পারবেন আমাকে? আমি রিতা।আমি ইয়াবা রানি। এই লেদা বাজারের গুন্ডা মাস্তানসহ সকলেই আমাকে এক নামে চেনে। আমি লেদা বাজারের পরিচিত একজন মহিলা।"

কর্নেল বাচ্চু বললেন,"আপনি কি লেদা বাজারের পরিচিত মহিলা, না কি হাগু বাজারের কুখ্যাত মহিলা-সেটা আমার দেখার বিষয় না। আমার দেখার বিষয় হচ্ছে আপনি ইয়াবাসহ হাতেনাতে গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন। তাই প্রচলিত আইন অনুসারে আপনাকে বিচারের সম্মুখীন হতেই হবে।"

রিতা বলল,"আপনি আমার কিছুই করতে পারবেন না। কেননা বর্তমান যুগ নারী অধিকারের যুগ। বাংলাদেশসহ বিশ্বের প্রতিটা দেশেই এখন নারীকে অগ্রাধিকার দেয়া হচ্ছে। দশজন পুরুষ যে কথা বললে গুরুত্ব হয় না, একজন মহিলা সেই কথাটা একবার বললে এর চেয়ে দশ গুণ বেশি মূল্যায়ন হয়। আপনি আমাকে ইয়াবাসহ গ্রেফতার করেছেন, এই খবরটা যদি দেশে-বিদেশে প্রচার হয়,তাহলে আমার পক্ষেই সকলে সাফাই গাইবে যে, পুরুষ মানুষ হয়ে নারীকে ইয়াবাসহ গ্রেফতার করেছে। এটা নারী নির্যাতনের সমতুল্য। দেশে-বিদেশে অবস্থানরত ফেসবুক এক্টিভিস্ট, ইউটিউবার এবং এনজিও কর্মীরা সকলেই আমার পক্ষে সাফাই গাবে। আর আপনাকে ধিক্কার জানাবে। অবশেষে আপনাকে চাকরিটাই ছেড়ে চলে যেতে হবে ।তাই সময় থাকতে আমাকে ছেড়ে দেন।"

কর্নেল বাচ্চু বললেন,"হ্যাঁ নারী অধিকার ঠিক আছে।পুরুষ হিসেবে নারীদের প্রতি এমনিতেই আমরা সহনশীল। কিন্তু আপনি ইয়াবাসহ গ্রেফতার হয়েছেন এবং নিজের পক্ষে সাফাই গাইছেন। এটা যদি দেশ-বিদেশের মানুষ জানতে পারে, তাহলে কখনই আপনাকে সমর্থন করবে না।নারী অধিকার, নারী নির্যাতন প্রভৃতি ধ্যান-ধারণা প্রযোজ্য নির্দোষ নারীদের ক্ষেত্রে। কোন দোষী নারীর ক্ষেত্রে এগুলো প্রযোজ্য হতে পারে না। হ্যাঁ বর্তমান যুগ নারী অধিকারের যুগ। কিন্তু নারী অধিকারের পাশাপাশি এমন একটা সময় আসবে যখন সমান বিচার সারা বিশ্বে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হবে। একজন নারী যেভাবে সমান অধিকার পাবে তেমনি সমান বিচারের সম্মুখীন হবে। এটা আমার কথা না, এটা বাংলাদেশের একজন দার্শনিকের কথা। তিনিই হচ্ছেন সমান বিচারের প্রবক্তা।"

এবার রিতা এমনভাবে কথা বলল,যেন সে কথার প্যাচে ফেলে কর্নেল বাচ্চুকে হারিয়ে দেবে। তাই রিতা বলল,"আপনি সরকারি খরচায় চাকরি করেন। পাবলিকের টেক্সের টাকায় বেতন নিয়ে সংসার চালান। আর এখন বাংলাদেশের একজন দার্শনিকের আদর্শ প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে চাচ্ছেন। একজন দার্শনিক একটা মতাদর্শের প্রবক্তা হয়েছেন, এটা যদি বেসরকারি লোকে বলত, তাহলে মানাতো। আপনি তো সরকারি চাকরির আচরণ বিধি লঙ্ঘন করেছেন।"

কর্নেল বাচ্চু বললেন,"আমি কারোর মতাদর্শ প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্য কাজ করি না। আপনি অপরাধ করে নারীর সমান অধিকারের ব্যাপারে বলেছেন।তাই আপনাকে জানাতে চাচ্ছিলাম যে, আপনার ওই সাফাই গাওয়া টিকবে না। কেননা আপনাদের মতো নারী অপরাধীদেরকে প্রতিহত করার জন্য মানুষ এখন সচেতন হচ্ছে। তাই আমার এ কথাটা কখনই সরকারি চাকরির আচরণ বিধি লঙ্ঘন করেনি।"

এ কথা শুনে রিতা চেঁচিয়ে উঠে বলল,"হ্যাঁ, শুনেছি দেশে বিদেশের কেউ আমার পক্ষে সাফাই গাইবে না। কিন্তু আপনি আমার এখন কী করতে পারবেন? এই আমি দাঁড়ালাম ইয়াবাসহ। দেখি আপনি আমার গায়ে একটু টাচ করতে পারেন কি না?"

এবার কর্নেল বাচ্চুর পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা মেজর মফিজ ফিসফিস করে কর্নেল বাচ্চুকে বললেন,"স্যার এখন কী করবেন? এই মহিলাকে তো আমরা ধরে নিয়ে যেতে পারব না।আমরা তো এসেছিলাম অজানা এক ইয়াবা কারবারির সন্ধানে। এটা যে মহিলা, সেটা তো আমরা জানতাম না।"

এবার রিতাকে কর্নেল বাচ্চু বললেন,"আমি আপনার গায়ে কখনই টাচ করব না। কিন্তু আপনি মনে করবেন না যে, আপনাকে আমরা নিয়ে যেতে পারব না। আমাদের র‍্যাব ক্যাম্পে কয়েকজন মেয়ে মানুষ আছে। ওরা আমাদের মহিলা সদস্য। এদেরই একজন অনিতা দারোগা। অনিতা মেয়ে মানুষ হলে কী হবে? ওর উচ্চতা ৫ ফুট ১০ ইঞ্চি। যখন রেগে যায় তখন অনেক ছেলেও তাকে ভয় পায়। এখন আপনি ভালোয় ভালোয় যদি পুলিশের হাতে ধরা না দেন, তাহলে অনিতা দারোগাকে বলব আসার জন্য।তখন সে আপনাকে আচ্ছা মতো পেটাবে। ঘুষি মেরে আপনার নাক ভাঙবে, থাপরে থাপরে আপনার কান ফাটাবে আর চুল তো ছিঁড়বেই। দেখেন না মেয়ে মানুষ ঝগড়া লাগলে কীভাবে একজন আরেকজনকে নির্যাতন করে? সে আপনার সঙ্গে আরো কী কী করবে? সেটা আমি বলতে পারছি না।"

রিতা তখন ভয় পেয়ে বলল,"আমিও মেয়ে মানুষ, উনিও তো মেয়ে মানুষ। আমার সঙ্গে আর কী করার আছে?"

কর্নেল বাচ্চু বললেন,"সেটা আমি জানি না। তবে সে যখন এসে করবে তখন আপনি নিজেই দেখতে পারবেন।"

এ কথা শুনে রিতা বলল,"থাক অনিতাকে আর খবর দিতে হবে না। আমি নিজেই পুলিশের হাতে ধরা দিচ্ছি।"

এ কথা বলে রিতা উপস্থিত পুলিশের সঙ্গে গাড়িতে গিয়ে উঠল। আর পুলিশরা ইয়াবা রানি রিতাকে নিয়ে থানায় চলে গেল।

এবার কর্নেল বাচ্চুকে একা পেয়ে মেজর মফিজ জিজ্ঞেস করলেন,"স্যার, আমাদের ক্যাম্পে তো কোন মেয়ে মানুষই নাই। আপনি ইয়াবা কারবারি রিতার সঙ্গে অনিতা দারোগার মিথ্যা গল্প বললেন কেন?"

কর্নেল বাচ্চু বললেন,"সহজভাবে সত্য উদ্ঘাটনের জন্য। তুমি কি দেখনি, রিতা ইয়াবা কারবারি কীভাবে নারী অধিকারের কথা বলে আমাকে কথার প্যাচে ফেলতে চেয়েছে? তাই সত্য উদ্ঘাটনের জন্য অনিতা দারোগার গল্প ফেঁদেছি। আর মাদক কারবারি, সন্ত্রাসী প্রভৃতি ধরার জন্যও তো আইন বাহিনীর সদস্যরা অপরাধী সাজে। এবং অপরাধী সেজে অন্য অপরাধীদেরকে ধরে। আর আমি তো শুধুমাত্র গল্প ফেঁদেছি। অন্যায় তো কিছু করিনি। তাতে আমার অন্যায় কোথায়?"
