The Ransom

A girl was attacked by hoodlums; they held her with a fierce and wicked grip, demanding from her some money.

With a tearful, fearful plea, she replied: I have no money to give you; please let me go"...

All her tearful fearful plea fell on deaf ears as these hoodlums dragged her into the bush.

Such is the life of mankind in this wicked world of sin and satan.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

All men had been held hostage in sin, by satan and his host of devils, and satan is demanding a ransom that none of his hostages could ever pay.

But in the everlasting love of God The Father and His infinite mercy, He gave away His only begotten Son Jesus Christ for us all.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 3:23-25 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Christ Jesus paid the ransom, a price He paid with His precious blood shed on the cross of calvary.

He suffered and died to pay the price to clean our sinful debt, which is eternal death, a debt which we could not pay, even in our physical death.

In His resurrection and in His life, our ransom is signed, sealed, and delivered. If we receive Jesus Christ into our heart and life as our Saviour and Lord, then we cease to be hostages of hostile satan, no longer bound in the chains of sin, being dragged into the dungeon of eternal death unto the condemnation of infernal hell. Receive Jesus Christ today and be free to see the light of salvation and live the life of redemption by the victorious power and the glorious presence of Almighty God in His perfect love, joy, and peace forevermore. Amen.

This is because Christ paid the ransom once and for all.

 It's written

 "If you shall confess with your mouth The Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

 Please say this prayer from your heart and with your mouth...

 Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, according to Your Word, which says "...he that cometh to me is in no wise cast out" (John 6:37); now I know you won't cast me out; because you love me with an everlasting love, so much so that you sent your only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross so that I can live an everlasting life. (John 3:16) I believe you raised him back to life, to live and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Darling Jesus, I accept you into my life as my Lord and Saviour today: please forgive me my sins, wash me clean with your precious blood, write my name in the Book of Life...I am free indeed...it's Jesus who sets me free... All is well; Jesus does all things well. Jesus is my Lord and personal Saviour.

Now I know in my heart that I'm righteous "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness..." (Romans 10:10). Now I declare with my mouth that I'm saved. "...and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10). HALLELUJAH! Amen.

If you said this prayer from your heart, with your mouth, then I say to you: happy birthday, you are born again, born of the Holy Spirit, washed in the Blood of Jesus, to The Glory Of Abba Father. You are now a Child of GOD. So I advise you as a new convert to get yourself a Bible and find yourself a Bible-believing Church to fellowship with. God bless you.
