My heart was captured from the first chapter as I followed Bea's journey through life. You gave me a fresh understanding of children separated from their families and their struggle to find their identity. Thank you for letting us into the lives of each character - it endeared each one to me. My love for the sea came alive with tears and sweet memories of my own family times on the water. Thank you for the ability to pull on my heart strings as few authors have done. I loved how the two families grew to care so deeply for one another through the years. My only sorrow was having the story end and saying goodbye to characters I'd grown to love. May the Lord bless your gift as you continue to create beautiful stories of life.
