The Meaning Of Life
A heartfelt conversation between a child, and his grandpa.
A child asked his grandpa... "Grandpa, what is the meaning of life?" Grandpa replied... "Getting to know God through His only begotten Son; our Lord and Saviour; Jesus Christ" John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Grandpa is right. Jesus Christ is the meaning of life. He is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
He is the resurrection and the life. John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: He is the giver of abundant life. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.
Through Him, we receive the greatest gift of God to all, freely given to all men, and this priceless gift is eternal life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Him, the everlasting love of God is revealed to all, unto everlasting life, for all who believe in Him. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
NO JESUS, NO LIFE.
John 3:16, 36 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. Will you receive Jesus today and come alive from the congregation of darkness and death into the revelation of eternal light and everlasting life? Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God who died for my sin and rose up from the grave in your righteousness, and you are alive forever, and you're the giver of life eternal. Lord Jesus, please forgive all my sins and wash me clean in your precious blood, shed on the Cross of Calvary, write my name in the book of life, come into my heart and be my Saviour, reign in my life as my Lord forevermore.
