Meteorologists keep track of data such as air pressure, wind direction and speed, temperature, humidity, and weather trends. Meteorologists use data from the land, sea, and higher atmosphere to investigate the reasons behind certain meteorological conditions. They create both short- and long-term forecasts of weather and climatic phenomena using computer and mathematical models.In addition to making predictions, meteorologists also look at weather trends, climate change, weather prediction models, and how weather affects the surrounding.
