Dreams are stories and images that our minds create while we sleep. They can be entertaining, fun, romantic, disturbing, frightening, and sometimes bizarre. They are an enduring source of mystery for scientists and psychological doctors.

Define dream-life. Dream-life as a noun means The world of the dream state of consciousness taken as a reality.

If you describe someone as a dreamer, you mean that they spend a lot of time thinking about and planning for things that they would like to happen but which are improbable or impractical.

While dreamers are more on the impulsive side, realists are more stubborn. Realists have dreams too, but these are more so rooted in ambition, drive and determination. They are goals that have been enumerated for some time. Realists understand that progress requires more than ambition and drive, but also, connections.

Life goals are all the things you want to accomplish in your life. Often your life goals are very meaningful to you and can make a lasting impact on your life. They can be large and challenging goals, or they can be smaller and more personal. It all depends on what you want to achieve.

An idealistic dreamer is often willing to risk everything—no matter what the cost or consequences—and has no plan B. An idealist is “someone who believes that very good things can be achieved, often when this does not seem likely to others.”2 They imagine the “perfect life” they want to have and set out to achieve it.

A dreamer is someone who has a lot of great ideas, but never really follows through on them and believes that an idea itself is proprietary. A visionary is someone who tells you what is going to happen in the future and then spends the next 10 years plotting an exact course to get there.

Dream worlds (also called dream realms or illusory realms) are a commonly used plot device in fictional works, most notably in science fiction and fantasy fiction.

Sustained action. The dictionary makes little distinction between the two, but for me, an idealist is someone who envisions greater things and then works to make it happen. Dreamers may have the same ideas, but they are either unable or unwilling to take the necessarily steps to turn their dream into reality.
