Chapter 1 - The End
Peace strangled on its own saliva. The entities of ✦᭣⍀ (Yasaa) were finally enjoying a tense peace at the close of the four-hundred year war with ✦ꔼ﹅ (Bacoh). We strutted around with our ﹅𑜡キ𑜡 (catetsestet-chest) stuck out, and ꫳ𑜕 Ⲇ⌿ (heafdeds-heads) held high. We were the blue, black ҈ꝏspha Yasaa of light who could not be conquered. My best translation for ҈ ꝏspha Yasaa is congregants of light. The entire planet of ✦𑜕 𑜡(Afsastet) felt at ease. The Bacoh had been a terrorist nation.
Where the tram put me off at Afeafree (15) and Gem I walked up the wide crystal walkway to the High Government section of town. The city gleamed more brightly than usual. A pseudo peace fraught with tension oppressed the day as the ✦ꔼ﹅ Bacoh entities we had colonized walked amongst us as prisoners of war with looks of disdain blighting their shine.
✦𑜕 𑇢 ꔛAfreenen of all shades and heights walked in either direction on the wide street either smiling, talking, or laughing. They burdened me with side glances as they passed by me whispering ⍀ꯕỷ Sashayee (shy one) which means halfbreed. I struggled not to look down, but keep my eyes focused on my destination. Sashayee's are Afreenen whose mothers were captives taken by force they usually walk with lowered head and are afraid to speak out. I kept my head up and didn't give them the satisfaction.
The streets were clear of tros (a type of car) today too. Instead the crystal streets glistened in preparation for this day.
