Religions were created by men

To rule men

To divide and conquer men

Religions have brought about divisions

Continues to create more divisions

That lead to further divisions

Religions have created wars

Continues to create wars

And in hopes of protecting them we wage more wars

There are so many gods

We would do anything for our respective gods

We would even lie to protect our gods

Yet what we should realize is

That all we know about them are our imaginings

And nothing more than our imaginations

Truth be told

All we know is what we are told

Whether from a book or verbally told
