My life is like a forgotten memory bittersweet on the rarest of days
Your arms steel bound; they draw me close
Crumpled like dried up twigs my legs fail me
Who shall I call when I can no longer find succour in you
I thread this treachery, some call it love
Others a ruined affair
Passion unchecked blackens the heart and turns filth to gold
Slowly your tight hold weakens
Within me my feet suddenly gain strength
Your arms were not power; they were a riddle
