That Day, I Fell In Love.
As the sun emitted its rays like a shower of glistening sliver,
Singing breeze swirled petals of salvia splendens
And sent sweet notes of sandalwood, mint and sage,
Scents that eloped strong, masculine shoulders,
A sanctuary when I was scared, a cushion when I snoozed,
As he scooped my face and stroked my cheeks,
Starred so deep into my eyes that it pierced my soul,
And sparked off a swarm of butterflies as I shuddered,
Every second, I showed the symptoms of a lass in love,
And so I knew I wanted to spend my days with that stripling.
