　私が

「この塾から京都大学医学部の合格者を出す！」

　と言った時、周囲の人は無理だと言った。田舎の小さな個人塾だからね。

「京都大学を受けて採点基準を探り出す！」

　と宣言した時も、周囲の人は不可能だと言った。５０代だったから当たり前だね。

　でも、実現した時は愉快だった。

　受験生諸君！今はバカみたいな目標でもチャレンジするのは無料だよ。

「京都大学や旧帝、国立大学医学部なんてムリ」

　と、他人が言っても耳を貸さない。他人に（家族でも）自分の人生を左右されて堪るもんか！」

　です。

　私は、今「エッセイコンテスト」に応募中。夏休み頃に結果が出ます。賞金付きです。狙ってます。入賞して、賞金をゲットして、知名度を上げて、老後は「執筆」「講演会」「英文添削」で食っていくのが夢。

　無謀なチャレンジは続く。

"We will get a successful candidate from this cram school to Kyoto University's Faculty of Medicine!"

　people around me said it was impossible. It's a small private cram school in the countryside.

When I declared, "I will take the Kyoto University entrance exam and find out the scoring criteria!"

　I was in my fifties, so it was natural that people around me said it was impossible.



　But when it came true, it was a joyous occasion.



　Students! Now it's free to challenge yourself, even if it's a silly goal.

I can't go to Kyoto University, the old imperial university, or a national university's medical school.

　And even if others say it, you don't listen to them. I won't let others (even family members) influence my life!

　I am a "free" person.



　I am now entering an essay contest. The results will be announced around summer vacation. There is a prize. I am aiming for it. My dream is to win the prize, get the prize money, become well known, and make a living in my old age by writing, giving lectures, and correcting English sentences.



　The reckless challenge continues.
