Kidnapping affects the interest of education and academic performance of the up coming ones. So therefore one of the growing threats in the Nigerian education system is the attacks on schools, and the abduction of students by kidnappers. Recent events have shown that there is a surge in kidnapping cases in schools in Nigeria. Record have shown that between April 14,2014 to April 14,2021 more than one thousand students have been kidnapped from their schools. The rising cases of kidnapping in Nigeria schools have shown how vulnerable our/schools in Nigeria have become for attackers by gunmen yet the Government do nothing about it why❓
