Su yan managed to remove su jin and other two fellows in the apparatus room and left and started to leave the school ground. When they were passing through a certain class they heard a voice calling to them .

" Hello can you take me too? " asked the boy who was hiding inside the class .

" You can follow, " said Su Yan expressionlessly .

" Okay " said the boy as he left the class he was hiding into and joined them leaving the school ground

when they reached outside, they both got into the car which su yan came with and started leaving the school ground and before they could get far they saw met with three military car coming toward them and stopped near them, then after few minutes one man got out of the car and stood in front of her car while other stood near their military cars , Su yan knew, that the man must be a parent of a certain military leader .

" That's my dad " said a boy the boy happily pointed happily to a man who stood in front of her car wearing military cloth .

" I don't see my dad, but he is also from the military, '' said another girl whom Su yan rescued together with her little brother.

Su yan unlocked the car and got out of the car .

" Come out then " said su yan and the boy and girl quickly got out of the car and the boy directly ran to his dad's arms , but the girl was a bit hesitant on walking toward the military man , so su yan held her hand and walked toward the military man .

" Hellow , im zang huo, thank you for saving my son "

" It's fine, this girl said his father is also working in the military, " said Su Yan, taking the girl who was hiding behind her back .

" Yes yes I know her, she is our leader's daughter Chu shin , we are also here to search for her '' said the man excitedly .

" Okay, you should follow them, they will take you to your dad okay " said Su yan .

" Okay pretty sister " said the girl and walked toward the military man .

" Thank you so much, you can follow us, we will ensure both of your safety, " said the man .

" No thanks, I have somewhere to go, but you can help me by lending me a gun or two, " said Su Yan .

" You know how to use a gun ?" said the man, raising an eyebrow .

" Yeah, not much, " said Su Yan expressionlessly.

" Okay " said the man and gave her two of his pistols .

" You should avoid getting scratched or bitten or else you might turn into zombies, and also not all people who get bitten turn into zombies, other people survives and don't get infected " said Su yan, cause she remember at the early days of apocalypse, those who were scratched or bitten, were killed on spot before they can awaken their abilities .

" You seem to know a lot about these creatures " asked the man curiously.

" Not much, i will be going now " said su yan and turned around.

when Su yan entered the car she looked at the remaining boy and a girl.

" Do you also want to go with the military? "

" No thanks, my brother doesn't get along well with the military or police " said the boy who wanted to tag along.

" What is your name? " said Su Yan, asking the boy .

" My name is fu leng " said the boy making su yan stiffen a bit,

( it must have been a coincidence, fu chen didn't have a brother ) thought su yan .

" I will stay with my pretty sister, " said the little girl Huang Nian, whom she first found hiding in class .

" Aren't you afraid that your brother won't find you when he comes to find you? " said su yan telling .

" Not at all, my brother already told me that if i'm in trouble and he is not around, i should just run away as far as i could, cause as long as I'm safe, he will find me " said the boy .

" Okay " said Su yan and left the school building and started Heading toward her rented apartment.

On their way then can see people running around like lunatic, running away from zombies, while other were getting eaten by zombies

the children in the car were shivering with fright, but Su yan didn't even try to comfort them at all and let them be, cause they will be seeing such scenes regularly, so they have to get used to it the sooner the better .

When they reached near the apartment she had rented, she guided the kids inside her apartment, but not before she killed five to six zombies on her way in , Su yan locked the door from the inside and heaved a sigh of relief , cause it was so hard to guard children from the zombies .

The sitting room was empty and she went directly to the bedroom where she had put the things she had bought the day before and stored them in her space .

" Sister, are you a magician ?" asked Su Jin, blinking at his sister innocently.

" No, it's just an ability that I have awakened , you will also be able to awaken yours too in the future, I guess , '' said Su Yan .

" Will I be able to get abilities too? " asked Huang Nian .

" Yeah , everybody will get one as long as you don't die early " said Su yan, making the little girl stiffen a little .

" Your Words are scary, you are only scaring her more " said Fu leng .

" I know, but it is the truth, from now on our world is going to be like this, survival for the fittest, if your not strong enough to protect yourself then you might die and turn into zombie "

" What about dad? " asked Su jin with a worried face.

" What about him ?, he is an adult, he will surely know how to protect himself, go bath and change your cloth one by one, so we can rest for today " said Su yan giving Su jin and Fu leng a pair of sport wear to them and then she pulled the little girl into another room and made her wash herself and changed into sportswear which she bought for Su jin, although it was a bit big but it was good .

Su yan used scissor and cut hers and the little girls hairs short, the little girl looked more like a cute little boy , after that she took an electric cooker and heated the noodles , no child complained because they were so hungry.

After the meal Su yan told them to rest early cause they had a long day tomorrow and it was already 7:35pm, and it was already dark outside .

Su yan decided to use a single room to rest with the children ,she let the children rest on the big mattress, while she sat a bit far from the mattress keeping guard , although she had closed all the doors, but she couldn't let her guard down .

In the middle of the night su yan heard a light footsteps coming toward her and when she opened her eyes, she saw it was the little girl huang nian .

" What is it ?" asked Su yan .

" I can't get to sleep , '' said the little girl, fidgeting with her fingers .

" Come here " said Su yan and the little girl moved closer to her and sat near her, su yan pulled her and made Huang nian's head lay on her lap .

" You don't have to be scared, I'm here, I will watch over you " said Su yan patting the girl's head. It's normal for the little girl to be scared, she was only ten or Eleven years old .

" Okay " said the little girl

After a few minutes the little girl managed to fall asleep on Su Yan's lap.
