Corona’s restrictions have been extended to 21 February

Ongoing restrictions on corona infection have been extended to 12 midnight on February 21 (Monday).

The Cabinet Division has issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.

The notification said that the ban was imposed to prevent

the outbreak of the new type of corona ammonia and the spread

of the disease in Bangladesh. As a result, no more than 100 people

can gather in open space and inside any building for any social, political,

religious or state function. Those who will attend these events must have a

certificate of vaccination. It was also informed that teaching will be closed in all schools,

colleges and universities at this time.

Earlier, 11 restrictions of the cabinet division came into effect on January 13. The district administration is conducting operations in different places of Dhaka metropolis to implement this directive.

Deaths are also on the rise with the rise of corona infections in the country. More than 30 people have died in Corona for 4 consecutive days.

In the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Tuesday to 8 am on Wednesday), 37 people have died of corona in the country. Earlier in the day, 31 people were killed.

A press release issued by the Department of Health on Wednesday afternoon said that 12,193 new cases of corona have been detected in the last 24 hours. The previous day,

13 thousand 154 people were identified as Corona. In the last 24 hours, a total of 44,451 samples have been tested. The previous day the rate was 29.17.

In the Corona situation, Education Minister Dipu Moni  yesterday announced an extension of two more weeks to close the educational institution.
