This poem is about how we find it difficult to let go of most toxic things and people coz we afraid to loose the familiar since it's all we know.

LIGHT IN THE TURNEL

Just like seasons people change,

And just like wounds people heal,

The transition might take time,

But eventually we forget old scars.

We start appreciating new love,

We stop being prisoners in our own cells,

And we consider growth,

For like a butterfly growth is beautiful.

Wipe your tears dry today,

For tomorrow brings a new beginning,

A beginning where my pain is snuffed out,

Snuffed out like a poorly lit fire,

I finally understood darkness,

And learnt to appreciate light.
