Pulling an all-nighter

Waiting for the sun to embellish the day

I Raised my rusted lighter

To ignite a candle to illuminate my way

I walk in darkness to seek the light

From shadow to shadow late at night

I seek the horizon,waiting for my star

I see the light, so close yet so far

The precious light loved by the birds to chirp a song
