  Review: I used this book to study for the Abdomen registry and passed the first time with over 70 points to spare. I only used this book to study. The book is concise and has great breakdowns of important pathology and anatomy that you need to know. The online services were also very helpful. It allows you to take "practice" ADMS tests and then it breaks down the score so you know if you're really weak in one area. It even provides you with detailed answers to the questions you got wrong. Very helpful book, would recommend for anyone about to take their ABD or OB/GYN registries!

  Review: FANTASTIC book to have! Penny does a great job at being concise yet precise in his writing. I studied this book and was able to SUCCESSFULLY pass both my boards of OB/GYN and ABDOMEN. I think this book by itself was excellent, especially for the OB/GYN board. The Abdomen board was tough! Definitely use this book as one of your resources but my advice is to venture out to other books as well. But all in all, I do not regret this purchase at all. Two thumbs up!

  Review: I cannot suggest this book enough! I loved how easy it was to read and comprehend! This book is full of updated information along with a new online question bank that I found particularly helpful in studying for registries! The online portion allows you to tell it what subject you would like "practice questions" on or you can just click the "all" option to quiz yourself on all the material. I definitely recommend this book to those who are about to take their registries!!

  First off I'd like to thank you for the opportunity to study your review book, it's been helpful! I just wanted to ask who might I contact about some errors in the book? I have the second edition. I just wanted to help out! There's some reviews on Amazon as well that point out a couple of the errors as well (page 21 and 24). I just want to make sure they're fixed because if someone is using only this book to study, they could answer questions on the board exam wrong if they didn't know. Example - unconjugated bilirubin is listed in the review as also called direct bilirubin, and vice versa with conjugated bilirubin. I also wanted to let you know I received a misprinted book as well - the very first page after opening the front cover is page 279. Page one is in the middle of the book if that makes sense (all of the pages are there, just in the wrong order).

  Review: LOVE THIS BOOK! Passed my ARRT (S) , ARDMS (OBG) & (ABD) with this book. However, I remember when taking my ARDMS exams that some information wasn’t in this book (I did use another book as well for the ARDMS just to double check I read all I needed to know) but regardless, this book explained everything very well and I could have passed the ARDMS exams even without cross referencing ( I just like being thorough).

  Review: I really loved this book. I used it (and the online resources too) for my abdomen boards (along with some Quizlet and a mock board from the Ovel book) and passed on the first try. I used ONLY this book and it's online resources to study for OB/GYN and passed on the first try. I also keep it around to use as a resource. I'm very happy I chose this book!
