Title: Love rises from the ashes

Review: Wow! This is the first book that I've read that featured a Phoenix shifter and I'm totally hooked. There were so many twists and turns throughout the story and definitely a fair amount of angst but the last part absolutely pulled everything into the "Awww" realm! I loved Liam and Lucian from the first two books and I'm so happy that they both got their hard earned HEA. Beau is intriguing as our Phoenix shifter and then the addition of their third in ... Well, I don't want to spoil anything but it really was perfect. I'm ready to dive into the 4th book and excited to find out who will be next to get steered by the whims of the Fates towards their mate. Or mates, as the case may be. Lisa Oliver is one of my favorite authors and I am thrilled to add this series to the long list of books by her that I love! Totally recommend these books!

Title: Liam's Lament

Review: Arrowtown is a shifter dominated town where tiger alpha Ra leads his little pack of various shifters including two lion brothers: Lucien and Liam. Liam had always known Theo, he was a packmate, and leader he looked up to. But it wasn't until Simon's kidnapping that Liam knows Theo is his mate. Does everything work out? Of course not!

So this story begins and Liam is losing touch with life. He's beyond depressed. His brother Lucien is there for him but it's not enough. The only answers Liam finds are in the bottom of a bottle. Into all this steps Beau, a strong 150 year old shifter that knows it's time to step up, step in, and claim his mates. Yes mates. He's ignorant of the damage Theo Western did, trusts fate, wants everything to work out and despite good intensions, causes even more heartache and chaos. Not all disasters can be fixed. Add in a father with plans and another father with greed and these men have their work cut out for them.

The tone was different in this story but from the blurb we know there's M/M/M and a HEA. Now, I had questions. I was curious as to Trent's lost mate that fate talked about. I wonder if I missed something in this series. And while it's not always said, I think of any type of reptile or bird shifter has to hatch from eggs. Just saying. - Dan's Wife

Review: 4 ⭐️

I found this one to be probably the best of the series so far.
Liam is a beautiful soul and his character was well portrayed.
I was worried how the Theo storyline was going to handled, as it was going to be a hard sell to redeem him after his actions in the last book but I was happy with the resolution.
I enjoyed Beau as a character and liked that he was conscience of mistakes he made and tried to fix them.
I did feel that the ending was kind of rushed. It felt like there was a big build up, dealing with Theo and with Liam and Beau bonding and then waiting and looking for their third, and it felt like with all this work once they met him it kind of just rushed through and it was the end. It made the third person to me feel like an afterthought and didn’t give his character a chance to really shine.
I still enjoyed it and will definitely continue on with the series
Looking forward to Joe and Doc’s book

Review: Lisa Oliver is an author that has become an auto-buy for me. I really enjoy all of her series, with the Cloverleah series probably being my absolute favorite. You probably could read this one as a standalone but I think it is more enjoyable if you read the others in the series first. I wasn’t sure how Lisa was going to spin this book since Liam‘s mate, Theo, whom we met in a previous book, was truly so awful there was no saving him. But she managed to surprise me.

This had a fun little twist in it that I didn’t see coming with Trent. I just wish we could’ve learned more about Trent in this book to get to know him better. It really wasn’t feasible though with the timing and the flow of the story. I loved Noah and Lucian as well. I know she said the next book will be about Joe and the Doc (can’t wait to find out why he is stupidly denying his mate), but I’m really looking forward to reading Noah’s and Lucian’s story and finding out who their third will be. I’m really, really also hoping that at some point some magic occurs and Hal gets his tongue back. That truly was awful and I think he deserves some saving. Maybe Annabelle can play a role in that?

Title: A fun series to follow!!

Review: I am completely bias when it comes to this author. I like most of her work there's only a few exceptions. This book however was different it had more twist and turns then I was prepared for. I mean this author almost always comes up with the most ridiculous ways to incorporate male pregnancy into the plot. In this one she takes that theme a little farther with the pregnant character not really getting the fact the pregnancy its real until the ultrasound. I like that aspect, I felt it added depth to the character. I do get tired of the characters just easily accepting all the weird stuff so easy. Plus I like when male characters act like men. I would recommend this series!

Review: Liam is a horrible POS. He spouts things like mates are sacred but my annoying useless brother comes first. So you are a liar and deserve Theo. And Liam's friends are not good people. They set Baue up to fail when he has no idea what's going on. They need to mind there business. Ra is definitely a politician. These people should not be the main characters. Except Baeu who has no choice , and is the only one who cares about anyone else. The fact Liam gets a HEA gives me heartburn. He is so self loathing that it is waaay too much. I would reject you as a mate too.

Review: Lisa Oliver likes to torture her characters a little before they find their HEA but poor Liam takes the cake. I'm glad he won out in the end. This is a great story and a great series. I would read the whole series again and again.

Review: There have been very few books that I've waited for as eagerly and impatiently as I did this one. Liam's painful and seemingly hopeless situation absolutely broke my heart, but the author gave Liam his HEA ending with style, talent, and in a totally unexpected way. I'll openly admit to gloating about how a certain character met his just end. Thank you, Lisa Oliver, for giving me such a fantastic, awesome, and wonderful book to curl up with.
