“Special program on Promotion of Agriculture Production cluster (APC) in Tribal Regions of Odisha” is a project which is been implemented in 71 blocks of Odisha. There are various implementing partners in respective blocks with a lead NGO PRADAN coordinating at State level and as well at District level also.

The project aims to collectivize women farmer and support them in farm and allied activities for income enhancement.

Thus PRADAN require experienced professional for rendering services to partner NGO's and as well capacitating their staffs and community cadres for smooth implementation of the project in Angul, Keonjhar & Sundargarh district of Odisha.

We require different types of professional with hands on experience which are given below;

Job title- Agriculture Expert

Nos of Position- 3 Nos

Minimum Qualification- B.Sc /B.tech in Agriculture or Horticulture

Experience- Minimum 3 years work experience with valid experience certificate, Preferably in regenerative agriculture.

Expected Role-

A. Demystifying crop, soil & water science as per the context preparing training material and plan for field-based demos

B. Experiment & field trials

C. Technical troubleshooting

D. Handhold support to Partner NGO staffs and Community Cadres for Agriculture & Allied activities .

E. Liasoning with Relevant Stakeholder  

Any other responsibilities as may be deemed necessary for the role

Communication Skills - Ability to speak, read & write languages – Odia & English 

Mobility- Candidate able to travel inter district and within the district for support to different organizations. Having own mode of transportation (Two Wheeler)

Job Title- Veterinary Expert

Number of Position- 1 Nos

Minimum Qualification- Bachelor degree in Veterinary Science

Experience- Minimum 2 years work -with valid experience certificate

Expected Role-

A. Demystifying livestock rearing practices as per the context

B. Preparation of training material and plan for demos

C. Experiment & trials

D. Handhold support to Partner NGO staffs and Community Cadres for Agriculture & Allied (Livestock) activities.

E. Liasoning with Stakeholder  

Any other responsibilities as may be deemed necessary for the role

Job Title- Agri-Marketing & Producer Company Promotion Expert

Nos of Position- 1 Nos

Minimum Qualification- Graduation in Agriculture, MBA Agri Business marketing will be preferred

Experience- Experience of working with community (extension work)- minimum 3 years-with valid experience certificate

Expected Role-

A. Grooming and training of community Cadres and partner NGO staffs.

B. Engagement Plan for Community Cadres for collective marketing of agriculture and horticulture produces.

C. Rolling out of seasonal training plans for the community cadres

D. Facilitate PG wise seasonal plan on crop, farmer, area; assessment of PG & PC wise progress, problem identification & finding way-out; aggregation mechanism, exchanges of learning

E. Preparing Business plan for Producer Company and strategizing to rollout in timebound manner.

F. Liasoning with relevant Stakeholder

Any other responsibilities as may be deemed necessary for the role

Remuneration- Will be up to the current market standard and is negotiable depending upon the experience in all the above desired role.
