"Come with me, we'll take you to safety. You're lucky we spotted you. This area is dangerous. There are rebels and bandits around here. You must have been through a lot," he said.

He led them to the helicopter, where two other soldiers were waiting. They helped them get in and strapped them to their seats. They gave them blankets, water, and food. They told them they were going to take them to a military base, where they would be checked by a doctor and then transferred to a hospital. They also told them they would contact their families and friends, who had been worried sick about them.

Dorcas and Jonathan thanked them, but they felt a strange mix of emotions. They were relieved, grateful, and excited to see their loved ones again. But they were also sad, scared, and confused.
