Dorcas and Jonathan had never met before they boarded the small plane that was supposed to take them to a remote resort in the mountains. They were both looking for a break from their stressful lives and a chance to reconnect with nature. They exchanged polite greetings and smiles, but did not talk much during the flight.

They never expected the plane to crash.

The pilot lost control of the aircraft when a sudden storm hit them, and they plunged into the dense forest below. Dorcas and Jonathan were the only survivors, miraculously escaping with minor injuries. They managed to salvage some supplies from the wreckage, but they had no idea where they were or how to contact anyone for help.

They decided to stick together and look for a shelter. They found an abandoned cabin in the woods, hidden by the trees. It was old and dusty, but it had a fireplace, a bed, and some canned food. They thanked their luck and settled in, hoping to be rescued soon.

But days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. No one came for them. They realized they were completely cut off from the world, and they had to rely on each other for survival. They learned how to hunt, fish, and gather edible plants. They also learned how to keep each other warm, comfort each other, and make each other laugh.

They slowly fell in love.

They discovered that they had a lot in common, despite their different backgrounds. Dorcas was a successful lawyer who had sacrificed her personal life for her career. Jonathan was a talented musician who had struggled to make a living from his passion. They both felt lonely and unfulfilled in their previous lives, and they both yearned for something more.

They found it in each other.

They made the cabin their home, decorating it with their own crafts and paintings. They made music with their own instruments, using pots, pans, and strings. They celebrated their birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays with their own traditions, using candles, flowers, and gifts. They dreamed of their future, imagining what they would do if they ever got back to civilization.

But they also wondered if they ever wanted to leave.

They were happy in their wilderness, in their own little world. They had each other, and that was enough.

One day, as they were walking in the woods, they heard a loud noise. It sounded like a helicopter. They looked up and saw a black chopper flying over them. They waved their arms and shouted, hoping to catch its attention.

They did.

The helicopter circled around and landed near them. A man in a uniform stepped out and approached them. He had a radio in his hand and a gun on his belt.

"Hello, I'm Captain Jones from the Nigerian Air Force. We've been looking for you for a long time. You're the survivors of the plane crash, right?" he said.

Dorcas and Jonathan nodded, stunned. They couldn't believe it. They were finally found.

"Come with me, we'll take you to safety. You're lucky we spotted you. This area is dangerous. There are rebels and bandits around here. You must have been through a lot," he said.

He led them to the helicopter, where two other soldiers were waiting. They helped them get in and strapped them to their seats. They gave them blankets, water, and food. They told them they were going to take them to a military base, where they would be checked by a doctor and then transferred to a hospital. They also told them they would contact their families and friends, who had been worried sick about them.

Dorcas and Jonathan thanked them, but they felt a strange mix of emotions. They were relieved, grateful, and excited to see their loved ones again. But they were also sad, scared, and confused. They didn't know what to expect from their new lives. They didn't know how they would fit in. They didn't know how they would cope with the changes.

They looked at each other and held hands. They felt a strong bond between them, forged by their shared experience. They knew they loved each other, and they didn't want to lose each other. They wondered if they could stay together, or if they would have to part ways.

They didn't know what the future held for them.

But they knew they had found love in the wilderness.
