The world was suffering almost two years of pandemics brought by the Coronavirus-COVID 19. The lives of the people were affected a lot. Not the only threat of the virus but also the stomach of each Filipino especially the individual who lives paycheck to paycheck. Many business entities were forced to close due to the suffered income. Some lessen their employee in order to survive. Therefore, the rate of unemployment in the Philippines is increasing.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, “The country’s unemployment rate in December 2021 was estimated at 6.6 percent.” That’s around 3.27 million jobless Filipinos.
