Pathaan was released in India on 25 January 2023, coinciding with Republic Day weekend in IMAX, 4DX and standard formats along with dubbed versions in Telugu and Tamil.[6][7] It received positive reviews from critics and had the biggest-ever opening day for a Hindi-language release by grossing more than ₹106 crore globally.[8][9]
