Nurture assumes
Emerson distinguishes nature and soul as the parts of the universe. He characterizes nature (the "NOT ME") as everything separate from the inward individual — nature, craftsmanship, different men, our own bodies. In like manner utilization, nature alludes to the material world unaltered by man. Workmanship is nature in blend with the desire of man.
